I love working at the shelter! My job includes greeting the public, answering the phones, and handling the paperwork and recordkeeping that comes with the territory. But I also help do laundry and dishes, mop, and clean kennels and cages, too. It’s all hands on deck on this hardworking team of compassionate kennel workers and Animal Control Officers. Our jobs are physically and emotionally demanding; we work together to bring out each animal’s best. I have a special spot in my heart for big dogs (the bigger, the better) and adult cats who only need time, patience, and love to reveal their personalities and quirks.
